Developed by Maestro David Dworkin, this session allows you to become one with classical music selections while getting a good cardiovascular workout.
Brainbuilders at 1:30 p.m.
This group session includes exercises to stimulate your mind including games, puzzles, and more.

Details: We will be heading to Newberry to tour the Komatsu Manufacturing Plant. After the tour we will head out for a Dutch treat lunch. On the way back to Lowman we will stop at Enoree River Vineyards in Newberry for a visit and wine tasting. Cost of wine tasting is $5/person. Details: Praised by the Columbus Dispatch for her ‘beautiful sound’, flutist Jennifer Parker-Harley enjoys a versatile career as a teaching artist. Having recently joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina, she is committed to training a new generation of performers, educators and advocates for the arts. Dr. Parker-Harley is an honors graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, holds a bachelor’s degree and a performer’s certificate from the Eastman School of Music, and graduate degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Fall into Volunteering: Volunteer Fair

Details: This Volunteer Fair will feature a variety of local agencies and organizations that are in need of volunteers. Senior Explorers Trip to the Battle of Camden

Details: Join us for an educational tour of the Battle of Camden. Senior Explorers is offered in conjunction with the Palmetto Conservation Foundation through a grant from Palmetto Health. Book Club “Olive Kitteridge”

Lomazov/Rackers Piano Duo

Details: The Lomazov/Rackers piano duo came to attention in 2005 as the Second Prize Winners of the Sixth Biennial Ellis Duo Piano Competition, the only national competition for piano duo in the United States at that time. Since then, they have performed as recitalists and in concert with orchestras throughout the United States and Europe. Ms. Lomazov and Mr. Rackers both hold the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, and both currently serve on the piano faculty at the University of South Carolina School of Music. The concert will be followed by a reception in the adjacent Hoefler Gallery. The event is free and open to the public with a reservation: (803) 451.7414.
