Arthritis Foundation Self Help Course
Dates: Every Wednesday starting April 14 - May 19
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Wellness Center – Activity Room
Details: This very popular course consists of six sessions held over a six-week period. A team of trained leaders will teach this course. The course covers an overview of the major types of arthritis; discussion of the types and uses of medications for arthritis; proper use of exercise and pain management techniques; the importance of good nutrition and weight management; ways to conserve energy and reduce joint stress; sharing of personal problems and solutions; and relaxation techniques. The course was designed by the Arthritis Foundation; however, people diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lupus, or any other chronic pain condition greatly benefit from the course as well. The course content is designed to complement, not replace, traditional medical care. Tuba IV Players

Details: A fantastic quartet of tuba players back by popular demand. The program lasts about 45 minutes and light refreshments will be served.
